All notable changes to Generous.nz are recorded here, grouped by version. Every deployed build has a version number, a git tag, and an entry below.
Versioning scheme
Versions follow MAJOR.MINOR.PATCH:
- 0.x — pre-launch. Minor bumps mark a completed build phase or major feature set; patches are bug fixes on the current build.
- 1.0.0 — first public launch.
- 1.x+ — post-launch: minor = new features, patch = fixes, major = breaking changes or significant re-architecture.
Each version is tagged in git (v0.2.0) and the current version is kept in
package.json. See docs/version-control.md for how to cut a release.

- New "My purchases" area for buyers: every order they've placed, with the item, campaign, amount, status, delivery/pickup details, courier tracking links, and their voucher codes with "View & print" and "Download PDF" buttons. Accessible from the top navigation (signed in), the sidebar, and the Account page.

- The admin Overview is now a site-wide dashboard: money in (raised), paid to sellers, platform fees collected, needs attention, totals for fundraisers / wholesalers / users, a 30-day raised chart, and trending fundraisers and wholesalers.

- The admin sidebar no longer shows fundraiser-specific links (Your Fundraisers, campaign types, listings, sales, stats). Staff see a clean admin-only navigation: Overview, admin tools, and Account.

- Voucher PDF rebuilt with a measured, cursor-based layout: sections are spaced explicitly, long text flows to a second page instead of colliding, and the footer always sits below the content. The standard voucher fits neatly on a single A5 page.

- Purchase celebration confetti is now a proper bottom-cannon effect: bursts pop up from the bottom edge of the screen (centre, corners, then random pops along the base), fall with gravity and rotation, and stop after a few seconds. "Celebrate again" replays the whole sequence.
- Server CSP now includes
worker-src 'self' blob:so the confetti renderer's worker is allowed (nginx site config on the server).

Fixed
- Replaced the generic "Application error: a client-side exception" page with a friendly recovery screen. When an old tab hits a stale JS chunk after a deploy, it now reloads automatically and the page just works — no more dead-end error screens after purchases.

- Admin → Voucher design now has a "Download sample PDF" button that generates the exact PDF a buyer receives, so the design can be checked before any real voucher sells.

- Purchase celebration confetti now works when the visitor has reduced motion / animations enabled off (e.g. Windows "Animation effects" off in Edge). Previously the confetti was hidden entirely, so load and the "Celebrate again" button appeared to do nothing. It now shows a static burst that fades out — no movement, but a visible celebration.
